The DUS322 is our only all-zebrawood ukulele and is a real head-turner. We just love the pattern of this exotic wood, which sounds as good as it looks. Zebrawood is a hardwood from West Africa. It is light brown or cream in color, with dark brown streaks resembling a zebra's stripes. Thanks to its lovely coarse texture, open pores, and wavy grain, instruments made from zebrawood look very special. The neck and fingerboard of the DUS322 are made from African okoume and walnut. It's a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well. The nut may be a small component, but one that determines the pitch of the sound. The nut and saddle of the DUS322 are made from bone (not from plastic). Just one of the details that make this ukulele truly special. Headstock design is an integral part of our identity.
