Approximately 9 minutes in length, the title  Yellow Green  is a tribute to the two colours of the Brazilian flag. The introduction gives way to a vast Fugue (marked Vivace) dipped in the colours of swing. The central Adagio floats a dreamy, timeless melody. The brief finale brings together the fugues thematic material with one last recommendation for the performers: Feel jazz.
